Talk of the Towers Club Fees

We assess three different types of fees associated with membership in Toastmasters:

1. New Member Fee: This one time fee of $20 covers the cost of the new member kit and the basic Communication and Leadership manual. This fee goes directly to Toastmasters International. The new member fee does not apply to transfer or dual members.

2. Membership Dues: Toastmasters International charges a fee of $54 per year ($4.50 per month), and collects this fee twice a year (April 1 and October 1). Talk of the Towers collects the entire $54 fee from its members in March, from which we will pay both installments.

Membership dues for new members are prorated, depending upon when you join the club. New members will be charged $4.50 per month, beginning with the month in which you join and ending the following March. Amounts payable to Toastmasters International, versus Talk of the Towers, will vary based on the month you join.

3. Club Dues: Talk of the Towers charges a fee of $36 per year for supplies such as awards, speaker ribbons, and nametags; and for special events. New members will be charged $36 if you join between April 1 and October 1, and $18 otherwise.
